Meet the Sanssouci

In 1745, Friedrich II commissioned his architect Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff to build a small summer palace intended as an escape to enjoy the country air, set above a terraced vineyard with trellises and glazed niches in Potsdam near Berlin.

Sanssouci (sans souci) is a French phrase which literally translates to “without worries” or “free of care”.

The suite has been inspired by the charming vineyards of Sanssouci, boasting intricate sculpted embossed grape vines and delicate hot foil details with an accompanying regal wax seal – perfect for a destination vineyard wedding or nature-loving couples.
